The music of the 20th century is not only modern and bold—it can also be breathtakingly beautiful. This closing concert of the series offers compelling proof. Alongside the groundbreaking works of Bartók, the program features the well-known waltzes of Shostakovich and Khachaturian, as well as excerpts from Leó Weiner’s Divertimento No. 1, a fine example of the Hungarian chamber music tradition.

The program boldly combines wit and lightness with profound artistic expression, revealing distinctive sound worlds. A fitting conclusion to the series—presented in a fresh venue and infused with new energy.
